This week slipped by me. I had planned this post for the beginning of the week and here it is Friday already! Better late than never!?
And since it’s Friday I’ll start with the cute (bunny napkin folding) and end with cutest (Finley).
Easter is right around the corner – Sunday, April 20th. What better way to decorate your easter table with these cute bunny napkins. Standard square napkins work perfect for this but you can use any type of square material. The small bunny napkin shown here was made from paper towel.
(Please excuse the wrinkled material, and you know what I say about ironing: “ain’t nobody got time fo dat”)
Start with a square piece of material.
Fold in half.
Fold in half again.
Fold one side down like so.
Do the same with the other side.
Fold the bottom right corner up.
Fold the bottom left corner up.
Fold the right side like so.
Fold the left side the same until you end up with a kite looking shape.
Flip over the napkin and fold the top of the kite down.
Flip back over.
Fold in half.
Rotate your napkin so the thin point is now facing up.
Take the right corner of the napkin and place it inside the pocket of the other side.
Tuck that right corner into this pocket shown here.
At this point the napkin will hold itself together. You can also tie a ribbon around here to help hold it together.
Here is what the back of the bunny will look like once you tuck the corner inside.
Flip the napkin over and this is the front of the bunny. Pull and fluff out the ears and face and you have your bunny napkins ready for your Easter table.
And now it’s time for the cutest—Mr Finley.
Have a great weekend!
