These homemade chocolate chip cookies are made with coconut oil and less flour and sugar so they hold their shape. Since they stay nice and thick there is lots of cookie to sink your teeth into.

Coconut and chocolate is a hard combination to beat (with the exception of peanut butter and chocolate) and they surely satisfied my craving for something sweet.

Small Batch Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Small Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies

Lately I’ve been craving sweets. The other day I really wanted a chocolate chip cookie but with only two of us living in the house I knew it wouldn’t be a good idea to make a full batch. I would wind up eating them every day until they were gone (not good for the waistline). For the most part I try to eat healthy but I still need a treat every once and awhile. I gave in to my craving when I found this small batch recipe for chocolate chip cookies – perfect! I could have my cake (or cookie) and eat it too! This recipe yields about 8-10 cookies depending on the size you make them.
